CASE STUDY  ·  SECTOR TRAINING

PropTech training program

Design and development of a training program for real estate professionals, combining six thematic modules with visits to leading companies in the sector. The result is a distinctive learning experience that connects strategic knowledge with the practical realities of the market.

01  ·  THE OPPORTUNITY

A transforming industry that needed training to match

The real estate industry is undergoing a technological transformation that has been years in the making but has recently accelerated at an unprecedented pace. What began with the first digital marketplaces has evolved into an ecosystem powered by artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, and augmented reality, redefining the way assets are invested in, developed, and managed. Yet training opportunities have not kept pace with this rapid evolution.

The opportunity was to create something that did not yet exist: a program with a clear industry perspective. It would combine strategic knowledge of emerging technologies with direct exposure to the companies already putting them into practice. Not simply a course on PropTech, but a program designed by the industry, for the industry.

The program was created for professionals already working in real estate: developers, investors, asset managers, property managers, and innovation leaders who need to understand technology not as a passing trend, but as a strategic decision-making tool. Behind the project was also a broader strategic ambition: developing a proprietary program with its own identity and editorial vision that clearly communicates where its promoter positions itself within the industry’s transformation ecosystem.

“The real estate industry didn’t need another technology course. It needed a program that spoke its language—one built around its challenges and its players.”

02  ·  THE METHODOLOGY

A modular design focused on real-world application

Built around genuine market demand, the program began with an analysis of the training needs of the industry’s key professional profiles—including developers, investors, asset managers, and innovation directors. This assessment identified the knowledge gaps created by the digital transformation of the real estate market.

“The challenge wasn’t to produce academic content. It was to build a program that the industry would recognize as its own—relevant, credible, and directly transferable to professional practice.”

Based on these insights, a structure of six complementary modules was developed: PropTech trends and ecosystem, alternative assets, ConTech, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and space design and flexibility. The sequence is deliberate: it begins with the broader context and enabling technologies, moves into their sector-specific applications, and concludes with space management and user experience. Every module was designed around real business decisions rather than technical knowledge for its own sake.

A defining feature of the program was the integration of visits to companies within the PropTech ecosystem as a core component rather than an optional addition. This practical element ensured direct interaction with real market players and enabled participants to immediately connect theoretical knowledge with the operational realities of the sector.

03  ·  THE SOLUTION

A training program that accelerates digital transformation in real estate

The outcome was a comprehensive program structured around six modules: trends, alternative assets, ConTech, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and space design and flexibility. Together, they created a level of coherence and industry relevance that existing programs lacked. Each module defines its learning objectives, core content, and direct connection to professional practice—from identifying technological opportunities and anticipating market needs to selecting and implementing PropTech solutions within participants’ own organizations.

Visits to companies within the PropTech ecosystem are integrated as a core, non-optional component. This practical integration became one of the program’s defining strengths. Participants not only acquired theoretical knowledge but also engaged directly with the companies driving change in the sector. They gained insight into different business models and learned how to apply those lessons within their own organizations.

Designed for immediate implementation, the program is also fully scalable. Modules can be expanded, content updated as the ecosystem evolves, and the curriculum adapted to different participant profiles. Beyond the training itself, the project has created a valuable proprietary knowledge asset: an industry-specific framework that can serve as the foundation for future training initiatives and broader strategic positioning.

“The result was more than a training program. It was a clear statement of where the client intends to position itself in the transformation of the real estate industry.”
