Effective training is key to motivated employees, increasing their productivity and improving the company’s competitiveness in the market.

Training and development (L&D) of employees are crucial for business success, but inadequate programs negatively impact workers, leaving them without the necessary skills to advance their careers. This results in marginalized, dissatisfied, and unmotivated employees, which threatens companies’ competitiveness. Satisfied employees are 12% more productive, highlighting the importance of keeping workers happy.

A strong L&D strategy can make employees feel valued and appreciated, improving their job performance. According to the 2023 survey, employees rank training among the top three workplace benefits, along with health and wellness, and flexible working. Effective training not only enhances job performance but also strengthens corporate culture and future-proofs the organization.

In 2024, 4,500 workers were surveyed across the US, UK, and Mexico. The results show that the quality of L&D directly impacts employees’ perceptions of their employer and their propensity to leave the organization, particularly among younger workers. However, many employees lack access to the high-quality training they need, leaving them feeling stagnant and overlooked.
